Mark P. Finlay Architects designed this sprawling shingle style country home in 1994, and in 2013 was commissioned by the new owners to add their personal touch. This 10,000-square-foot residence was sited to take advantage of the breathtaking panoramic views of the scenic John D. Milne Lake. Characteristic of the Adirondack Shingle style, cedar shingles, eyebrow windows, trademark towers, and Connecticut fieldstone complete the aesthetic of this home. A stone walkway traverses the landscape, connecting it to the adjacent New England Shingle Style Cottage built in 2013. Designed as a three bedroom home, this cottage tucked into the woods now functions as a recording studio. A stone walkway spans the landscape to connect the two buildings.
