Landmark Colonial

New Canaan, Connecticut

Interior Design: Shelley Morris
Photography: Larry Lambrecht, Stacy Bass

This iconic, historic home built in the 1900’s sits on four acres of green pastures and surrounding woodlands in New Canaan, Connecticut.  Renovations and additions that reflect classical forms were designed by the firm to reconfigure the shape of the Colonial residence.  A new addition containing a butler’s pantry, kitchen, several bedrooms, and three-car garage matches the gambrel roof and dormers of the original house.  New windows and doors enhance the existing structure, while features such as an outdoor fireplace, patio, pool, and putting green extend entertainment functions to the outdoors.  The seamlessly integrated additions and renovations give the house a cohesive design.  The home was featured in East Coast Home and Design.
