Overlooking Lake Maumelle near Little Rock, Arkansas, a golf enthusiast’s private course and club lies nestled in the Quachita Hills. The owner commissioned the firm to design the master plan for the entire site, which features 18 Southern Colonial style buildings. Designed to reflect the traditional architecture of clubhouses from the turn of the century, the buildings are located amongst the renowned Tom Fazio course in such a way that their composition echoes that of a sprawling grand estate. Classically detailed structures comprising the master plan include a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse, 9,000-square-foot private residence, teaching facility building, gatehouse, receiving building, and seven guest cottages. Offering its members an unparalleled golf experience, the award winning club has been widely featured in publications such as Golf Digest,Golf Index,House Beautiful, and Interior Design magazine.
