Dig a Pony

Portland, Oregon

Photography: Mark P. Finlay Architects

Touted in The New York Times travel section as a favorite for many “fashion forward 20-somethings,” Dig a Pony has quickly become one of the most acclaimed bars in Portland.  Previously a workaday diner, the space was renovated to evoke a retro speakeasy.  Exposed antique wood beams, cozy booths along the walls, and original 1917 mosaic tiling create a unique and inviting space that is anchored by a vintage sixty-foot long horseshoe-shaped bar.
