Nestled into a remote bluff overlooking Chechessee Creek, this French Colonial plantation home draws on classical precedents while demonstrating a refined contemporary sensibility. Rooted in Lowcountry tradition, the first level is clad in stucco and anchored by robust columns, while the upper-level transitions to a more delicate expression of beaded clapboard and turned wood columns, creating a clear sense of architectural hierarchy.

Tall French doors, topped with transoms and fitted with operable shutters, articulate the façade and reinforce its connection to light, air, and landscape. Inside, twelve-foot coffered ceilings, limestone flooring, tapered columns, and wainscoted walls establish a consistent language of proportion and craftsmanship. Deep wraparound porches extend the living spaces outward, embracing the surrounding coastal environment and reinforcing the home’s indoor-outdoor character.
