RedStick Golf Club
Vero Beach, Florida
Inspired by the early twentieth-century Florida work of Addison Mizner, this 15,000-square-foot private clubhouse in Vero Beach draws from Mediterranean and Spanish Colonial Revival traditions. Designed as the architectural anchor of an award-winning course by Rees Jones, the building is set within a richly varied landscape that offers an ever-changing golf experience.
Clad in stucco, the clubhouse presents a contextually appropriate response to its environment while incorporating contemporary planning strategies. Its composition balances tradition and innovation, using classic forms and materials to establish a timeless presence while accommodating the evolving needs of a modern club.
Interior spaces are organized to encourage both social interaction and functional efficiency. Open dining and lounge areas foster a relaxed, communal atmosphere, while traditionally detailed locker rooms and generously scaled common spaces provide comfort and refinement. The clubhouse seamlessly blends historical inspiration with contemporary performance, creating a distinctive and enduring club experience.
