This all-season private residence, set in the Vermont Mountains, enjoys expansive natural views and direct access to the Stratton Mountain ski area. Inspired by Vermont farmhouse vernacular and Richardsonion influences, the design incorporates oversized doors and windows to evoke a welcoming, cottage-like presence.

Inside, clear fir serves as the dominant material, bringing warmth and texture to the expansive double-height living spaces. The extensive use of natural wood, paired with finely detailed Craftsman elements throughout, reinforces the home’s sense of comfort and rustic character. This restrained material palette and honest simplicity create interiors that feel both inviting and deeply connected to the surrounding wooded landscape.
