The Alotian Club

Roland, Arkansas

Overlooking Lake Maumelle in Roland, Arkansas, near Little Rock, this private golf club is situated within the Ouachita Hills. A passionate golf enthusiast, the owner commissioned the firm to develop the master plan for the entire property, which was designed with southern Colonial Revival architecture. Drawing inspiration from turn-of-the-century clubhouse architecture, the buildings are carefully sited throughout the renowned Tom Fazio–designed course, utilizing the topography in their composition to evoke the sense of a grand, sprawling estate.

The classically designed structures within the master plan include a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse, a golf teaching facility, a gatehouse, a receiving building, and three guest cottages. Offering members an unparalleled golf experience, the award-winning club has been widely featured in publications including Golf DigestGolf IndexHouse Beautiful, and Interior Design.
