Olde Pink House

Savannah, Georgia

Interior Design: DeLoach Design & Decoration

Originally built in 1771, this historic structure was once one of the oldest homes in all of Savannah. Throughout its storied life, the building served as residence, bank, Confederate Army headquarters, tea room, and antique shop before eventually being converted into an award winning restaurant.  To become the functional, patron-friendly space it is today, the Olde Pink House had to undergo an exhaustive restoration process and have several additions built onto the structure.  Working closely with the Architectural Review Board and the Historical Society of Savannah, MPF Architects expanded the Olde Pink House to twice its original size, while still maintaining its authentic Southern charm and beauty. The new restaurant boasts a new ballroom and banquet room, a paneled dining room with a private balcony, expanded kitchens, and a new bar with 13-foot tall French doors that open to sidewalk seating.  Since the renovations, this landmark building has been featured in Living Southern Style magazine and a Good Morning America segment.
